Comedian is a 2019 artwork by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan. Created in an edition of three, it appears as a fresh banana affixed to a wall with duct tape. As a work of conceptual art, it consists of a certificate of authenticity with detailed diagrams and instructions for its proper display. Two editions of the piece sold for $120,000 USD at Art Basel Miami Beach generating significant media attention.

This open edition mint is a collectible produced in collaboration with Zora who filmed and edited the piece. In this short film created by Zora we explore the world of Night Run, created by Matto and the team at Thousand Ant. Night Run is a conceptual art project which includes a motorcycle video game, an NFT project about imaginary AI powered fashion houses and a series of videos documenting the creation process.

The Night Run NFTs will interact with the game by allowing collectors to make aesthetic choices which affect the experience of all players. This brings part of the audience into a collaborative role of helping to curate the virtual space of the piece. The elements collectors will be able to change will include the music which plays on that route, which collections of artworks are randomized across the billboards of the city and certain color choices in the environment. The choices collectors make are saved and replicated across everyone who plays the game.

Proof of Merge is a fully on-chain, non-transferable, and dynamic NFT that will change throughout The Merge. We detect The Merge on-chain by checking if the DIFFICULTY opcode returns 0 according to EIP3675. During The Merge, the current Ethereum execution layer will merge into the Beacon chain, and Ethereum will transition from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake. Proof of Merge is a collaboration between Michael Blau (x0r) and Mason Hall.
