Both photography & poetry come together in my first ever ocean themed piece on the blockchain. As a girl growing up in south Miami Florida, I was always enchanted by the ocean. Even now, the sea never ceases to calm me & ignite my creativity. Captured in the summer of 2017 at a Siesta Key drum circle, in Sarasota FL.

The times can be good and times can be rough. During the rough times, we try to survive and try to make it to another good time. Times can be slow and nothing is going on. 

Those slow times can be an opportunity to reflect, learn, grow, connect and build. Reflect on past mistakes. Learn new tools to help advance yourself. Grow your presence. Connect with new opportunities and friends. Build with what you have reflected on with the tools you have learned to bring those connections and opportunities to life. 

We got to be there for each other, if possible, for our friends and family when times are tough. A conversation can go a long way and can help tremendously. 

A conversation and a hug can go a long way and motivate the person to keep moving and take it to the next level.

This photograph presents a sweeping view of Santa Monica Beach - gazing down the coastline, capturing the grandeur of the ocean as it meets the shore. Wisps of clouds hover above the distant mountains, creating a majestic backdrop. The beach is speckled with visitors; their silhouettes dot the shoreline and the sandy expanse. People are scattered about: some wading into the gentle surf, others lounging on the sand, and many meandering along the water's edge. About "On The Tracks"  
Tram Tracks are a place I would often wait for people to cross or on a daring day, a tram approaching in the distance. Here, in a slightly foggy day, I found the perfect person at just the right moment with a tram not far behind him. Two for one if you will!

Learning to cope with my surroundings and to come to terms with the feelings of isolation and anxiety I experienced after moving from the US, my camera became a way for me to analyze my surroundings and connect in a creative way. Each frame during this crucial timeof adjustment was a moment that I learned from but also a projection of myself and these feelings.

The community took me in with open arms in 2021 while I was in one of my worst states mentality.  
Dealing with depression as well other issues they listened, understood and never judged me and for that I am very grateful.

I got my first DSLR in 2015, and at that time, photography was just a hobby for me. I never traveled by myself before, and I just had this overwhelming feeling inside that I was ready for a change. So, I went outside of my comfort zone and booked a trip to Australia as a solo female traveler. I stopped in coastal towns across the East Coast, from Sydney to Cairns.

I had dreams about photographing Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet's swirling sands from this aerial perspective. On October 12, 2016, a 60-minute scenic flight over The Great Barrier Reef changed everything for me. As I was checking once in a lifetime experiences off of my bucket list, I quickly realized how much photography actually means to me and how my passion brought me to this magical destination.

Much like my adventures overseas, I have been challenging myself in the NFT space since August 2021. I love creating art and transporting people to the special places in my photographs. My first mint of 2022 was “Above Paradise”, which was also taken from this scenic flight. It’s only fitting that my last mint of the year comes full circle.

Have you ever had that indescribable feeling where everything just feels right? On October 12, 2016, I had a life-changing experience on a 60-minute scenic flight over The Great Barrier Reef when I realized photography was more than just a hobby for me. I didn’t think the day could get any better…until it did! 

This is a photo-based animation with the original sounds from my day on Whitehaven Beach in Australia. I always want to remember these moments, and this is as close to the feeling as I could bottle up and save. When I need to escape reality for a few minutes, this is where I go in my imagination for peace and tranquility.

When I was on this scenic flight over The Great Barrier Reef, the passengers were focused on getting the famous photo of The Heart Reef from above. While I also wanted "the shot", I was captivated by the beauty around me that others didn’t notice. 

When you open your eyes to the possibilities in front of you, you will experience a whole new world. May you find your mesmerizing muse in your own idyllic dreamscape, like I did in "Ethereal Escape".

Join me in this whimsical dream world, an ethereal version of reality seen through rose-colored glasses, shot during the pandemic. Perspective changes everything, and I was looking for a silver lining. 

The photo composition was captured as it appears - the trees and blue sky reflecting off the water's surface. It was then edited during post-processing using infrared light filters in Lightroom. The source photo was taken by ParraDeSys in Upstate, NY, on October 11, 2021.

I've always dreamed of going to Upstate New York during autumn, as I've heard it is a kaleidoscope of fiery fall foliage. 

When we arrived in early October of 2021, the leaves started to change, but nothing like what I've seen in photographs. I closed my eyes and imagined how the awe-inspiring scene would look with peak foliage as I breathed in the smell of the crisp fall air, felt the cool autumn breeze on my skin, and listened to leaves rustling in the trees all around me. I opened my eyes, captured the shot, and then edited "Ruby Reverie" using infrared light filters during post-processing in Lightroom to take me back to that moment of reflection on that chilly autumn day.

5th x Broadway by Elliott Grogan

This photo is one of the images that made me want to pursue photography as a fine art. It captures a specific moment while waiting at the intersection of 5th and Broadway, but more than that, it represents the energy of Downtown Los Angeles at that time.  As I have developed as a photographer, I continue to come back to this photo as the standard for how to capture intersections as both a personal experience and an embodiment of the city as a whole.   

For the viewer, the photo is immersive.  They are placed on the sidewalk through a first person perspective.  Their focus may jump from the signs in front of them to the person crossing on the opposite side of the street. They may find themselves staring at the patterns of the windows or peering down 5th.  By being placed in my shoes at this intersection, the viewer is given the opportunity to experience what Downtown Los Angeles felt like in 2016.

This is the second photo in this series of editions showcasing the images that made me want to pursue photography as a fine art.  It captures the intersection of 7th and Hill early on a Sunday morning.  The sun cuts through the buildings creating a dramatic contrast between the darkened foreground and the illuminated vanishing point on the horizon.  As I continue to grow as a photographer, this photo remains as my primary example of how to capture the peace of an early morning in the city.
