Bomb Story: Every generation has its own ""streetwear"". In the '90s, streetwear was propelled by artist-driven T-shirt labels, independent skate companies, and urban brands in the mainstream. The '80s version of streetwear was arguably independent surf designers like T&C Surf, Maui and Sons, and Gotcha. The Shattered Adam is in the spirit of a surf T-shirt brand of the era.| Background Story: 
Our earliest adopters know JAGS as The Hundreds' signature pattern, in the vein of Louis Vuitton's monogram or a Burberry plaid. Bobby taught himself how to design graphics through the Adobe Suite. His first Photoshop ""doodle"" was taking the pen tool and making these jagged shapes. Years later, we would coin this repeating print on clothing, leather belts and wallets, BMX bikes, snowboards, and marketing materials as ""JAGS."" Although still used across the collection, JAGS sums up the 2000s era of The Hundreds.

Bomb Story: Bizarro Adam was one of the first times that Adam Bomb broke the Mickey Mouse color code and was painted with an off-the-wall treatment. The name is a nod to the ""Bizarro Jerry"" Seinfeld episode, which references the alter-ego Bizarro Superman character from the DC comics.| Background Story: 
Horizontal stripes, especially of the yarn-dyed variety, are a staple of The Hundreds' collection. Earlier on, they were derived from the surf knits and beachgoer patterns that graced the backs of Californians in the 1980s. Examples include Hang Ten, OP, Quiksilver, and Gotcha. In the following decade, independent skate brands and rave companies capitalized on stripes across boxy, baggy tops. Whether they're fatter stripes across neighborhood-sanctioned Charlie Browns or pinstripes across suiting or a baseball jersey, The Hundreds' stripes speak to a spectrum of subcultures.

Bomb Story: While most Badam Bombs are intricately drawn and complex in nature, Simple Badam is a classic, 1-color version of the villain. Although he started off as a mascot, Badam Bomb has become one of the brand's logos over time. That requires a distillation of the design down to an easy and printable mark. There are a legion of The Hundreds followers who prefer a subtle, timeless Simple Badam over any other. | Background Story: 
The foundation of The Hundreds is streetwear, and at the foundation of streetwear is the graphic T-shirt. From our beginnings in the Fall of 2003, The Hundreds has relied on the tubular, open-ended cotton of a boxy, blank as our canvas. This is the same T-shirt that Bobby and Ben wore growing up, mixing and matching them 3 for $10 at the local swap meets. The independent skate brands of the 1990s, the streetwear brands of the early 2000s, all co-signed the same cut. Even when the clothing industry chased ringspun apparel or fashion silhouettes, The Hundreds held to the inspirational baseline. Our solid backgrounds are hues from the original swatch card that we built the brand off of.
