Vivid Fever Dreams is an up-and-coming alternative electronic music producer who has been making waves in the music scene with his unique sound and style. His latest track, "Gone Away," is a poignant and emotional piece that deals with the pain of separation from someone you love. Hi my name is Joshua :) . Pawrlsol is my cathartic output. This project began as a avenue to place musings outside of the band ‘Big Dead’. This art has taken many musical forms since it’s inception, and will continue to.

I wrote this song when I was battling to find joy in life without abusing substances. I knew I didn’t want to continue my path but life felt colourless without my crutches. I found myself saying “We will be again”, my former self and my future self would find happiness in life without the help of external sources. I would find the best parts of both of me in the future. (I’m still looking lol)
This song has unfortunately not made the cut for my upcoming EP ‘THERMOPOLIUM’ but thought it was too much of a bop to leave on my HD. 

I decided to release this song as a sonic introduction to the people who have yet to find my art. But also a homage to my current collectors, and my former self.

Bela - 
A trip with friends will always be revealing. This song was born while I was on San Andrés island which is an island off the coast of Colombia known for its deep blue waters, warm weather and rich musical culture. This trip was about an escape, to get away from my thoughts and the people who appeared along the way made this trip something wonderful.

Xcelencia - 
I first learned about Bela promoting on Twitter which lead me to her OpenSea. As I went through her collection I noticed the versatility and knew right away she was a songwriter at heart. That definitely drew my attention since I worked on the publishing side of music for several years helping writers and producers. I collected one of the songs in the collection making it the first music NFT I purchased to support other Latin artists in the space.

We were talking about collaborating for some time and ISLA was the perfect song to start with. The Afrobeats inspired soundscape and the Rhodes driven chord progression set the tone for the song. This is one of those records where I effortlessly did my thing inspired by her writing and the production. This is the remix.

One of my favorite things about music is its ability to take your mind away from everyday life to somewhere new. I love this feeling of being transported. It’s easy to lose track of everything else when you are lost in a song. That is my goal with every piece of music… I want your mind to drift off from the day to day when you listen.

I wrote Clouded back in early July and immediately knew I wanted to save it for a special moment in this web3 music journey. It was one of those sessions without a specific goal in mind, just playing around with different sounds and letting the idea lead. Continuing that line of thought, the name came from thinking about how clouded our view of the future actually is. Of course we should make plans and chase after our goals, but we don’t know what’s going to happen next. And often that is a beautiful thing. Many of the best moments aren’t things we plan for or even see coming. Our job is just to do our best and see where the journey goes.

Case in point for me is this drop. I didn’t see web3 music coming at all, and it has opened up a whole new world for me this year. Just showing up, creating music, collecting music, and engaging with our community here has made me more hopeful than ever for the future as an independent musician. Dropping on Sound has been a huge goal from the beginning, and I’m so happy with where the journey is at right now. I hope this song transports you somewhere, and thank you so much for your support.
