About: Smoke and Mirrors uses a mixture of rich colors, shadows, light and mixed media to explore the versatility of photography. The composition and use of Oranges symbolizes our human interactions. A reminder that things are not always what they seem. 

Throughout history, the use of food in Art has been a way for Artists not just to show their skills, but to add symbolism to their work, by using something that is essential to our survival: food.

One of the most famous paintings from the late 15th-century, The Last Supper, was centered around food. In fact, paintings of food and banquets featuring food, were commonly commissioned during the Renaissance to signify wealth. It also cannot be ignored that food art has its roots in classical literature.

L'EGGacy2 is a collection of 450 unique images using my own smart contract and bueno.art services, created from  250+plus hand drawn traits, curated generated NFTs and uploaded to the ethereum block chain by Karrie Ross, Los Angeles.

I'm a 72yrs old artist and i create art, the utility is that i can continue to create the more i create and sell.   Each token was created as custom which allowed me to hand assemble them, giving them each a little more special touch of being a 1/1. I hope you enjoy them and Thank You. I see them as "scenes of living life "

I hope you like my thoughts as I use several styles while creating L'EGGacy2 and it uses the style that I am know best for, collage, my pen&ink and I've mixed it with snippets of my original fine are and some gan images for backgrounds.

Hello? Hello?! On the other end of an empty telephone a man’s voice is heard ~ as he runs through the empty streets a nightmare unfolds. A thrilling poetic art film, by Laurence Fuller follows a man thrust deep into his own nightmare. With no way out, he must confront the spirals in his own shadows. Chasing the echoing corridors has has intense and vivid visions, in a surreal labyrinth of a facility.

Hello? Hello?! 
Let me empty my thoughts,  
I applied to every department in this facility,  
Did you get my messages?  
I had many questions I just thought I’d mention this,  
I’ve been having visions lately;

City Nightmares,  
Constants frightful ticking,  
Moments of our dreams, 
Snapping claws and jaws of giant chomping beasts, 
Breaking down these rubble streets, 
Clean and filthy all at once, 
Convincing with their tongues  
Their wrong choices buried in the right ones. 

Time for me to act,  
But the other side of the telephone gives radio silence,  
And the humming of a static television on repeat, 

Godzilla reruns,  
In a smoke filled dusty motel,  
While a homeless man outside hums to a lonely beat. 

Hello? Hello?!  
I called but nobody answered.  
Hello? Hello?!  
I called but nobody answered.

It’s all fucking broken again they howl. 
A boy mashing plastic dinosaurs on the clay floor,  
He once saw, covered in tiles,  
As his mother protects him from,  
The blood on the floor.

Will she steal him away from her? 
Crayon dinosaurs chew through cardboard, Cut outs of that perfect image of love that doesn’t exist.  
It all fell apart and there was nothing left but a giant crab in an existential crisis.

Off to the night watchers and their dangerous party fancies, 
Off to the street that heaves in disappointed angry daggers, 
Off to that destructive force that makes you wonder why you were ever really here.

Some stupid complacency inspires me to stare into colors of my nightmares, 
I’m burdened by this right to know myself,  
On the darkest level 
Through the safest objects, 
Growling midnight demons of my spirit prowling, in an open dark forest. 

She inspired the best parts of me by hunting my nightmares,  
And there I stuck like a petulant child,  
Until absence forced my will to act. 
Like a giant crab, she towered over my adolescence 
Screeching for me to wake up from my nightmares.

This is GUD by LOGIK. Best buds, Gud & Evol, were created with the halo and horn, even though one represents a heaven angel and the other a demon from down under. This illustrates that good and bad are ultimately subjective. Whether an action is good or evil can depend on a variety of factors, including the intentions of the person performing the action, the consequences of the action, the cultural or societal context in which the action is performed, and the values and beliefs of the individual or group making the judgment. GUD and EVOL were created to inspire us to be the best version of ourselves despite the status quo of what should be. We have one life to live, live it proper.

JRNY was formed in a web2 world with a web3 mindset, we believe in the power of art, community and support and this belief system is at the core of what JRNY stands for. Because of this it made perfect sense for us to bring JRNY in to web3 and become the first travel magazine to tokenize the entire content of a physical magazine. It has been many months in the planning and we have returned to the drawing board on more than on occasion but we are here now and bringing the world of travel & destination journalism to the blockchain.
