Winning submission for a FloriNouns contest for a community airdrop. This limited edition has been airdropped to holders of FloriNouns, Just the Flamingo DAO and owners of NounsDAO Flamingos as of December 11, 2022 at 8:30 pm eastern.

It all started with this one drawing, so it will help me start over!

Basicaly I was living a web3 dream, almost able to quit my IRL job, become a full time artist and move to the place where my heart belongs. It was so fucking close. But then... I got scammed. 

I lost almost everything I ever made with my art, almost a year of work, its all gone, completely lost. My wallet was left empty. Im ashamed and angry and the thoughts of leaving web3 and give up has been on my mind for quite some time now.

But even with that, I still have the support from the community, the many friends and experiences I got from working with so many amazing people, the feeling of finally belonging somewhere and, most important, the family I have found.

Thank you for helping me one last time on trying to rebuild what I achieved and got lost!  
My deepest thanks to every single one of you that have been with me in this journey. I'll never forget your support and kindness. Now, let`s keep building, be safe out there, may this Dragon always protect your wallet and shall we never give up on our dreams!

The Wizard’s Hat is a fantasy short film about a young, exhaustingly-optimistic wizard’s hat named Harriett, and her reluctant mentor Grummelot, a grumpy old wizard who is stuck in his ways.

When Harriett tries to help Grummelot with an incantation, she accidentally unleashes a wildly unpredictable spell that transforms the wizard’s inner sanctum to chaos.

One day after Hurricane Ian came on shore in Southwest Florida.

Southwest Florida has been devastated by Hurricane Ian. Prof Werder (aka The Nounish Professor) took this photo at the Naples Pier, the end of which was washed away. Someone had already written SOS in the sand.  

This edition will be available through October 3, 2022 and all proceeds will be donated to Hurricane Relief in Southwest Florida.  A POAP with receipt from donation will be sent to all holders.

I made this Open Edition thinking about the importance of memetic systems. Systems that may or may not work in the future. Sure, we can do our best, but in the end, the broad culture decides what's memetic and what is not. 

Another thing that I really love is the ambiguous pose of the character (you don't know if it's rising or falling). Something that really intrigued me when I was a kid playing Mario and constantly seeing the video game cover. 
The same comment could be used as a metaphor when you get the blue check in twitter. Are you rising as an official entity supported by the platform, or falling to a status game that is lowering the entry barriers to other people?
