On sep 26 on Iceland tour I broke my main 
Wide angle lens and main one, I was sad and devastated

So, I looked for the help in ICELAND and I tweeted about this incident and within a seconds people came into DMs and RT/QT and whole community stood for me to help me in that remote land.So this broken hope got the new hope from the community and people who not just helped me but encouraged me to move on and live the rest of the trip and don’t affect your mental health or photography due to this..

I am 2.5 years old and was born with a condition called “Microtia”, birth defects of a baby’s ear.  

Along with the donation campaign I created my 1st ever artwork to be dropped as NFT to support collecting the required  fund for the operations for my both ears.

Microtia happens when the external ear is small and not formed properly and usually happens during the first few weeks of pregnancy. These defects can vary from being barely noticeable to being a major problem with how the ear formed. Most of the time, microtia affects how the baby’s ear looks, but usually the parts of the ear inside the head (the inner ear) are not affected. However, some babies with this defect also will have a narrow or missing ear canal.

There are four types of microtia, ranging from Type 1 to Type 4. While Type 1 is the mildest form, and  Type 4 is the most severe type.

In my  case my  right ear is Type 3 and my left ear is Type 1. I can now hear with the device attached to my head called “Soft Band” but this device is only good till I am  5 years-old. After 5 years of age I will have to change the device and live with the device all my life.

The fact that my  “inner ear” is not affected by the disease and if the suitable surgery applied to open ear canals and my  auricles are restored I  can hear just like normal people without a device. My  parents have been through serious research since I  was born to find out what could be done for me  to be able to hear without a device. They had visited several hospitals and doctors, their research showed them that while the auricle restoration operation can be performed in Turkey, ear canal opening operation cannot be done. They finally found California Ear Institute and started communicating via emails. They provided the test results requested by the Institute. As a result I  was spotted as a perfect candidate for the surgery.

This surgery is a combined surgery that can be performed within 8-10 hours offering the ear canals can be opened and auricles can be restored.

The amount needed for the operations;

Left ear Type 1               $48,100

Right ear Type 3            $99,000

Total                                $147,100

As of November 10th $32,400 have been collected and $114,700 is missing

The surgery for the left ear is planned for January 25th and the total amount of $48,100 has to be paid in advance until December 10th.

This open edition of NFT aims to collect the remaining $15,700 to be able get my  operation on the planned date.

The sunnies are a collection of 9,141 randomly generated NFTs built from 215+ unique traits. Some sunnies are rarer than others, but they all shine equally bright.

A view of One World Trade Center in November 2022, it was peeking through the buildings with the light just right to create a nice "shine" that I had to stop to admire. The sky has been modified to add a bit of color to allow One WTC to stand out a bit more.

Republic Temporary job for years. There was news from Çamlık train station.. the last steam train to run was coming.. This news excited me very much. .I was going to pull that train too. About 1.5 hours later, the horse on the first train arriving at the station could be found out of the train at Çamlık station for the first time. I was with him the moment the train was fired and I was his companion in the memory of his son .. this photo is my first photo of love with the train .. Cumhuriyet, which is very meaningful for me, added value to other trend photos with this photo .. I'm glad there is repuclic

There are about 300 wild and semi-wild horses. This village provides a natural environment for them with its green areas, wetlands and spread areas where horses can run freely. They have lived in this area for a long time. Today, however, there are only 300 horses here. Many of them spread throughout the region or were domesticated by humans.

This is a photo from my first documentary project in a gypsy district  in the Black Sea Region, Turkey. This photo means alot to me, because this little boy suddenly ran into the house, while i was taking photos of him; then he showed up again with a plastic camera in his hand and he started to take my photos as i did. Today, This kid has grown up, he is almost in his 20s. 
Whenever i look at this photo, i turn back to those days and remember how important the happiness is.

Title : The Smoking Naga Sadhu

About the Piece :

The 'Naga Babas' or 'Naga Sadhus' (literally meaning 'Naked Yogis') are a part of the Shaivite sadhus' sect who worship Lord Shiva. They cover their body with ash and have matted dreadlocks resembling Lord Shiva.

Since Naga Baba’s are devotee of Lord Shiva, they smoke Marijuana which is an offering to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is also believed to smoke Marijuana and hence the Naga Baba’s offer Marijuana to Lord Shiva as a Prasad “ Offering”

Since the Naga Baba’s remain completely naked irrespective of the weather, this helps them to keep themselves warm as well.

Here a Naga Baba is seen smoking Marijuana in his makeshift tent in the transit camp where they come and stay for few days before embarking on the one of the biggest Hindu festival to take a dip in the Holy Water of the Ganges.

Envy and greed will turn you into something else that we can't describe. On this path, you will have pain, sorrow, and be alone.

Slice number 6 is called Old Amsterdam for a reason. This location is one of the oldest parts of Amsterdam. The bridge from which I made this photograph is actually called the Oudekerksbrug (Old Church Bridge). This area is very close by the red light district and in fact, this is the exact same bridge you walk over in the new Call of Duty mission in Amsterdam. This is not my most favourite location of Amsterdam (this is due to it usually being overrun with drunk and/or high tourists), but sometimes it's a bit quieter and then it's really nice to walk here. I especially like how all the old buildings in the background converge and the Basilica of St Nicolas towers from behind. I don't know, to me it's a classic old Amsterdam view. Unlike most of my photographs, this one is not as colorful or vibrant. I choose this photo on purpose to be part of the collection because Amsterdam is not always this lush, vibrant, and warm city. It can be pretty grey and cold and sometimes even bleak. This is a more depressing side of the city which I can also appreciate from time to time. Slice 6; Old Amsterdam is a more unique piece in the entire collection since it deviates from the rest in terms of style.

It was for my 34th birthday that I got this present from my girlfriend. She had booked me a helicopter flight over Amsterdam. A gift I thought was so awesome and amazing that I hugged her for at least half an hour. Nobody had ever given me anything like this before. I was super thrilled. 

The entire flight took about an hour, but the part over Amsterdam was over in 20 minutes. I must have taken at least 2000 photos in that timeframe. A new personal record for me in such a short time. 

I have always been pulled to this area because of its location and architecture. What I find especially intriguing is the sheer size and form factor of the roofs over the station. From the ground it's not that obvious, but from the air it's apparent how massive they are. 

How a different angle can change perspective. 

Funny how that works. 

I thought it was only fitting that as I received this gift, I too gift something and so I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for collecting from me and supporting me during the Slices of Amsterdam project. 

It means the world to me.
