This Genesis project acts as a token to a world of experiences created by Jadyn Violet. Each token doubles as a raffle ticket to the yearly Ultra Violet Experience, where one holder will get flown out to a set location of inspiration and indulge in a day in the life with Violet. The token also introduces the Underground Violet Rave which is an in real life event where holders get free access to and the ability to display their NFTs for collectors. It’s a collection of musical building blocks that to me represent the things that connect all my favourite music. Whether that’s James Blake, The Weeknd or Jamie xx; to me there is a sonic connection between the artists that inspire me which draws from alternative electronic influences. The intention behind my new podcast 'Soul Sessions' presented by Huddln Radio is to dive into deeper conversations with members of the web3 community who I respect and admire. Under the tweets on the timeline, under the latest project to be minted - what currents are running through their lives? What rhythms is their soul moving to at this time?

This piece co-created with Midjourney AI is my visual interpretation of what is happening during these conversations on that plane that is outside of, within and throughout the dimension that holds the frequency of our physical existence.

People who mint this piece will be welcomed into my growing collector community as the first collectors of my visual art! So for that alone, I thank you and am honoured that you would join me on this new journey.

Imagine that Hip-Hop had a superhero.

His mission? To save his first love, Hip-Hop — the genre that raised him from destruction.

Now picture his journey unfolding as a visual-musical experience where song lyrics are brought to life as comic art.

On a quest to save the cultural movement that gave him light in the darkest hours of his youth, GHOST-EMC (a now up-and-coming MC), fights to reclaim his first  love, Hip-Hop, and return her back to her truest form by any means necessary.

Despite being guided by good intentions — the desire to save Hip-Hop, GHOST is a flawed, conflicted character with a dark side and a few bad habits.

This NFT is the trailer for “G.H.O.S.T. [INTERLUDE]” - the debut single 
and it marks a very special moment on our Superhero's quest to save Hip-Hop. This is the very first time the world gets to hear any music or see a selection of comic art created out of his song lyrics.

hi everyone!

This is THROWED! 2.0: a song between me (remcycles) and BadAlphabet. This song originated as a beat idea and reference track that I was just playing around with. I loved the drums and the hook of the bassline and i began sharing it around and played it in the Outsider Collective discord one day. BadAlphabet hopped into the VC and asked me to send it over. We had linked a few times and i loved how his voice sounded live so I was pretty down off the bat. He then sent me the verse and dubs you hear here and I was in awe. I thought everything locked in perfectly and from there the rest is history. Went and added in some bass towards the end on top of the harmonies throughout the song. 

For the artwork, BadAlphabet created the work and did an absolutely fantastic job (i didn't know he was a graphics goat until he sent this over lmao) so I thank him extremely for his pen-work, both on and off the mic. 

This is the first collab where i'm featuring someone and featuring more of my voice which is a big, huuuuuuge step for me. Not altering my voice to hide it and displaying that all parts of my voice are beautiful, not just the deep ones.

To the collectors of this piece, you get to join the backstage pass into the journey of remcycles. I have a private instagram that will never be unlocked and will only be accessible (for now) through this token or if you have collected one of my 1/1s on Catalog. My musical journey is an experiment of how close and intimate I can get with the people who enjoy my music. I don't want to live as your favorite artist who you barely see through the sea of algorithm. I don't want you to only know me through twitter spaces or someone's retweets. I want you to be able to voice your opinion on a future career step without having to join a DAO. My art serves to show people it's okay to get close, be unique, be intricate, and be yourself.
